A Kakhetian Wedding

Wedding Invitation Design

The client’s wedding was to be held in the Georgian region of Kakheti, known for its fine wine, fine dining and grape collecting season referred to as “Rtveli.” The client wanted the invitation to be humble, yet resemble the region with its colors and elements. The background is a textured, faded beige, layered with golden lines that overlap, and details that capture the essence of Kakheti. All of the details were hand-drawn. Font used is in Georgian language called Geo Script.
